About Us
Welcome to Godfather Community, a organization located in Brunswick Georgia faith-based organization rooted in Brunswick, Georgia. Our journey began with Deacon Odell Rosby, a dedicated member of First Jordan Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Our vision is to bring live entertainment to the community that includes gospel, comedy, and jazz bringing the magic of live entertainment to our beloved community, from soul-stirring gospel to jazz, comedy, and more.; it's about unity and lifting each other up.
The Mission of God Father Community is to unify, uplift, and support the community. This is accomplished by sponsoring organizations that nurture the youth, support seniors. and cancer support groups, as well as provide safety for battered women and ensure that veterans of the community are honored.

Hello, I am honored to serve as the Director of our esteemed Godfather Community. With a passionate commitment to making a positive impact, I am dedicated to fostering a culture of empathy, support, and empowerment within our organization.
My journey in this role has been driven by a deep-rooted belief in the transformative power of community-driven initiatives. I strive to facilitate collaboration, encourage inclusivity, and implement innovative solutions to address the pressing needs of our community.

Pastor John E. Field Jr
Reverend Fields presently serves as the Pastor of the First Jordan Grove Missionary Baptist Church (FJG), in Brunswick, Georgia. Also holds a BS Degree in General Business from Excelsior College, an MBA from Brenau University, and is presently pursuing a Masters of Divinity from Luther Rice Seminary in Atlanta, GA.
Lashonda Simmons
Associate Financial Analysist
Lashonda D. Simmons is from Gainesville, Florida. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Healthcare Administration and has been employed with HD Supply/Home Depot for 18+ Years. She is the current Executive Director of Unspoken Treasure and the secretary for The Pierce support Group. Her passion is cooking and baking and she is known as "The Cake Lady" of Mz Angelz Tasty Cakes.

Homeless Assistance:
Homelessness is a complex issue, but we're determined to make a difference. We support homeless individuals by providing essential resources like food, shelter, and pathways to independence.
Veterans Feeding Programs:
Our veterans have sacrificed so much for our nation. We make sure they're never left hungry by offering feeding programs that provide them with the nourishment and dignity they deserve
